MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND*

ALFARO FAMILY VINEYARDS
NICHOLSON VINEYARDS
PLEASANT VALLEY VINEYARDS
WINDY OAKS ESTATE VINEYARDS & WINERY

Sunny Corralitos is at the southern, coastal end of the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation, about 20 minutes south of Santa Cruz, and an hour south of San Jose.  In this idyllic spot for grape growing, four independent, family-owned wineries have established the Corralitos Wine Trail:
Alfaro Family Vineyards,
Nicholson Vineyards
Pleasant Valley Vineyards and
Windy Oaks Estate Vineyards & Winery .

The Corralitos microclimate is perfectly suited to the production of our specialty, estate bottled Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as other noted varietals.  On the short journey between our wineries, you travel along idyllic country roads surrounded by redwood trees, apple orchards, olive groves and flower farms.

Join us for our spring festival Saturday, May 8, 2010, from noon to 5:00 p.m., where the public can visit our wineries—up close and personal. Come meet us, see our vineyards in all their spring glory, and taste our outstanding wines from true artisan winemakers.

A ticket will give you entry to all 4 wineries, and includes wine tasting, a commemorative crystal glass, picnicking in the vineyard, as well as perfectly paired local and imported cheeses, Corralitos sausages, and local artisan breads.  In addition, each winery will have some of the following: creative culinary
demonstrations, guest chefs, unique food to complement each winery's own wines, local artist's wares, vineyard arts and crafts, musicians, and much more!  Check individual websites for details.  And remember, ticket sales are limited so no winery becomes too crowded
.
