Corralitos Wine Trail
Special Event Open House at 4 wineries
Saturday May 9, 2009 12 - 5 pm.
“There is a lot of magic in the air in Corralitos.”
At the southern, coastal end of the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation, about 20 minutes south of Santa Cruz, and an hour south of San Jose, there is a temperate little valley and mountain area called Corralitos. In this idyllic spot for grape growing, four independent, family-owned wineries have established the Corralitos Wine Trail: The Corralitos microclimate is perfectly suited to the production of our specialty, estate bottled Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and we produce other outstanding varietals as well. On the short journey between our wineries, you travel along idyllic country roads surrounded by redwood trees, apple orchards, olive groves and flower farms. There is a fee of $35/person for advance ticket purchases or $40/person on the day of the event—if all tickets are not sold out. The fee entitles you to visit all four wineries, and includes wine tasting, a commemorative glass, barrel samples*, picnicking in the vineyard*, and tastings of local sausages, breads and cheeses.
